Joseph W Smith
As a third-generation entrepreneur, Joe started his first company in 1991 and has been buying and starting companies since. When not working on one of his companies, Joe spends his time consulting with business owners to help improve their businesses through Organizational Optimization, Process Design and Implementation and Customer Acquisition and Retention through Customer Service. Outside of work, he volunteers, golfs, and enjoys time with family and friends.
A native of Northern California and a legacy Event Manager. Joe planned his first event in 1986 and has since become a leader in Hospitality, Experiential Marketing, and Conference Planning. He founded StageOne Events in 1996, purchased National Reunion Services, and Rock Around the Clock Entertainment. Joe’s extensive industry involvement includes roles on the Hawaii Convention Center Corporate Advisory Board and the MPI Industry Advisory Panel. As President of StageOne Events and Executive Director of the MCLE Network, Joe is known for his hands-on, efficient approach. Outside of work, he volunteers, teaches, and enjoys time with family and friends.
